As part of our care team, Caregivers support clients by acting as a surrogate caregiver and friend when family members or loved ones can’t be present. It can give family and friends the peace of mind that their loved one is getting the attention he or she deserves, the companionship they desire and the care they need to remain safe at home.

Light housekeeping should be thought of as a task that a caregiver does to help provide better care to a client. For example, when a caregiver provides meal preparation, the client can count on the caregiver to clean up the kitchen, clear the table, put the dishes in the dishwasher or wash by hand, and then place back in the cupboard.

24 hour home care for the elderly provides around-the-clock caregiver support.

24 hour elderly home care typically provides two caregivers in 12-hour shifts to cover both the day and nighttime hours. In some cases, three caregivers will rotate for 8-hour shifts at a time.
