It is a true pleasure for me to write this letter of recommendation for Tomeka McNeil. Tomeka had worked as my client, James Fleet, primary caregiver for more than 4 years. Mr. Fleet was a resident of Heritage Greens living in Independent Living. Over the past several years is health declined and required more care.
Tomeka is compassionate about her job and always positive. She stayed in constant contact with me and always let me know of his needs and any complications. She handled the scheduling of other caregivers and always stepped up if someone wasn’t able to cover their shift.
During the time Tomeka spent working with Mr. Fleet, she provided him with much-needed companionship and conversation, medication support, and assistance with incontinence and also prepared his meals for the day. I genuinely believe that because of her eagerness to help, she made Jimmy’s life more comfortable than it would have been otherwise.
In conclusion, I recommend Tomeka for a caregiver position without reservation. I believe that she is completely capable of providing exceptional care, both on a physical and emotional level while maintaining her client’s dignity.
